Today is Cookie Monster's birthday!
To celebrate our fuzzy blue friend's important day we played Who stole the cookie from the cookie jar?, math style. Each child received a cookie card with a number on the left hand side and an addition problem to solve on the right. When students solved their addition problem the sum matched the number on the left of a card of another student. When their number was called each student was accused of stealing the cookie from the cookie jar!
We had so much fun going around the classroom until we found the true culprit, can you guess who it was?
