Today we began learning about יום ירושלים, which celebrates the return of Jerusalem to Jewish hands after the Six Day War in 1967. The children were delighted to watch the Kotel Camera, as they witnessed an IDF induction ceremony live on the Smart Board! Morah Michal also taught us about the different landmarks in Jerusalem and their significance and we closed the subject by writing a note to the Kotel our prayers and wishes from Hashem we were so moved by the kids wishes!
