Today the Second Graders had a very special visit from a numismatic! Yosef Baker studies, collects, buys and sells U.S. and world coins. He told the students about the history of money, and showed them some ancient and special coins from around the world. As an added special treat, BPY 8th grader Daniel Ptashny brought his coin collection as well! Daniel told the students about coins from around the world and how they can start collecting coins too. At the end of the presentation, Mr. Baker and Daniel gave each student a few coins to jump start their numismatic careers!
