In Hebrew we have been learning about the order of a person's day and we have been learning the vocabulary for different clothing items. Today we learned a new song, "מי יודע מדוע ולמה לובשת הזברה פיג'מה?" ("Who Knows Why the Zebra Wears Pajamas?!") Every morning, the zebra wakes up and wonders what to wear, but in the end, he always decides to wear pajamas! Today, the second graders became fashion designers for the zebra and each child sketched out an outfit for his zebra to wear. The children were very creative and really enjoyed designing bathing suits, dresses, sportswear and costumes. When they were all done, the students presented their newly clothed zebras and sang the song.
