Today in social studies, students helped to construct a timeline. We began with the year that Columbus set sail in 1492 and ended with the day that Ben Porat Yosef opened it's doors in 2001. Students each received a card with year and an important event that they fit onto the timeline. Paying close attention to the chronology of their cards, students placed them carefully and correctly onto the life-sized timeline in our classroom.
Did you know that Oreo cookies were invented in 1912? We wonder if they still taste the same today...
