Second Grade had a fabulous Author's Day! The day began with meeting Johanna Hurwitz, author of Busybody Nora and over 70 other books. The students enjoyed hearing about the process of writing a book, as well as some stories from Ms. Hurwitz's other books. She answered many of our questions and even showed us the first story she ever wrote from when she was in First Grade! The celebration of writing continued when 2A visited 3A to share our animal research books. Each student met with a Third Grader and enjoyed reading their poetry as well.
Please take a look in your child's homework folder for their completed animal research book as well as their exhibit design from our trip to the zoo.
