Did you know that Theodore Herzl proposed the Israeli flag to be white with seven gold stars? He finally accepted David Wolfson's advice: blue and white like a tallit which men use to wrap themselves up in for prayers. They inserted a Star of David in the middle which shows the desire for security in the Jewish land.
We talked in class about our good wishes and prayers for the State of Israel and the students wrote prayers and lovely blessings!
