How can I tell if a number is odd or even? After a lesson from Morah Aliza, 2nd graders split into two groups and went on a number hunt searching for odd and even numbers hidden around the classroom. Each group did a fantastic job finding the correct numbers and ordering their numbers from least to greatest. Finally, we had an insightful conversation about why we are studying even and odd numbers during a unit on multiplication.
