2A works through the writing process

Today in writing workshop, we spoke about the steps of the writing process. Each student looked closely at their writing, and decided where they were in the writing cycle. Next, they put a post-it with their name on a poster to identify the step they were up to. As the students worked, they updated their status to the step they were working on. Students chose from pre writing, writing, revising, editing and publishing. We are all on our way to publishing our stories on Friday!
